Harbhajan Singh and Sania Mirza appointed as Dubai sports council Ambassadors

The Dubai Sports Commission has announced four global sports icons as its sports ambassadors, with the former cricketer Harbhajan Singh and tennis player Sania Mirza being the two Indians among the list. Russian UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and French footballer Patrice Evra were the other two members who got the chance to be part of this honourable achievement. With this initiative, Dubai is aiming to establish itself as a global leader in sports excellence by attracting major international events, developing local talent, and promoting sports tourism.
