India placed in the third spot as the 3rd largest exporter in smartphone market

India has moved from the 23rd position in the global smartphone index to the 3rd spot in the span of just five years. This significant rise marks a remarkable achievement in India’s manufacturing and export capabilities. With smartphone exports increasing by around 92% in November 2024, this huge growth showcases the government’s success in setting up initiatives to build a strong domestic production ecosystem.
