A rare migratory bird of prey, the eastern Imperial Eagle was spotted at Mudumalai tiger reserve during the winter migratory season.
 As part of the 2025-26 winter migratory season, the rare Eastern Imperial Eagle was sighted at the Mudumalai tiger reserve. Recorded by wildlife photographer Murali Moorthy, the sighting shows the Mudumalai’s significance as a key habitat for migratory birds of prey.Â
