One of the main cities in the National Capital Region (NCR), Ghaziabad was named as the most polluted city in November 2025, recording PM2.5 levels of 224 µg/m³.
As the winter season has announced its arrival in Northern India, Ghaziabad—one of the major cities in the National Capital Region (NCR)—experiences the worst levels of air pollution in the month of November, 2025. As per the results published by the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA), Ghaziabad comes up with a record PM2.5 level of 224 µg/m³, exceeding all the limitations.
