India emerged as champions in the inaugural edition of the Blind Women’s T20 World Cup by defeating Nepal by 7 wickets.

India made history in women’s cricket by defeating Nepal to clinch the first-ever Blind Women’s T20 World Cup in Colombo, Sri Lanka. After opting to field first, Indian bowlers put up a stellar performance to restrict Nepal to 114 for 5 in their 20 overs. Chasing a modest total, Indian batters guided the team to a comprehensive victory with eight overs to spare. India’s victory amplifies the growing momentum in promoting para and blind sports at the international level.
