The Union Health Ministry, and the Ministry of Women and Child Development join hands to lead India’s largest-ever initiative for women and child health, Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’,(healthy woman, strong family campaign), along with the eighth ‘Poshan Maah’ (nutrition month) on September 17.
Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan, launched nationally on 17th September 2025, is India's largest women and child health mobilisation campaign. It is jointly led by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) and the Ministry of Women & Child Development (MoWCD), and is integrated with Poshan Maah 2025.
