Rohit Sharma has been appointed as the ambassador for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, set to be jointly hosted by India & Sri Lanka.
Former Indian Team Captain Rohit Sharma has been appointed as the official tournament ambassador for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, a decision that honors his contributions for the last two decades. India & Sri Lanka will be jointly hosting the prestigious event from 7th February to 8th March. Apart from leading India to the World Cup victory in 2024, Rohit Sharma also played a big role in India’s title win in the 2007 edition with the scores of 50* against South Africa and 30* in the final versus Pakistan.
