Virat Kohli becomes the second highest run scorer in International cricket, surpassing Kumar Sangakkara’s tally of 28,016 runs during the 1st ODI against New Zealand.

Indian Cricket legend Virat Kohli scripted another history by becoming the second highest getter in International cricket, overcoming Kumar Sangakkara’s tally of 28,016 runs. The feat was achieved during his fluent 93 run knock against New Zealand in the first ODI in Vadodara. With this, Virat Kohli now has a tally of 28,016 runs across International formats, trailing only the great Sachin Tendulkar in the list.
