JAIIB (Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers) is a certification exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) to help the banking professionals grow in their careers and achieve their dream positions. JAIIB 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria in terms of age, educational qualification, and number of attempts are given below:
Age Limit: There is no specific age limit set for the candidates appearing for the JAIIB examination. All those employed in the banking sector are eligible to appear for the examination.
Employment Requirement: To be eligible for the JAIIB exam, candidates must be a member of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF). In addition to that, he/she should also be a working professional in the banking & financial sector.
Educational Qualification: When applying for the JAIIB, candidates must have cleared the 12th exam in any stream. However, clerical or supervisory staff are permitted to sit on exams with the manager's recommendation, even if they have not cleared the 12th examination.
Number of Attempts and Time Limit: There are five attempts available for the candidates to clear the JAIIB exam. Apart from that, a three-year time limit is also set from the first time of registration to clear the exams. If the candidate fails to crack the exams in either five attempts or 3 years, he/she should start from scratch again.
JAIIB 2025 Qualifying Criteria
Candidates must score at least 50 out of 100 for each paper to qualify for the JAIIB.
Candidates will still be declared as qualified if they achieve 45 marks in each subject with an aggregate of 50% marks in all subjects of the exam.
Negative marking will not be available in the JAIIB exam.
