All You Need To Know About The RPF Recruitment 2024

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) announced last month about the recruitment drive they are conducting to fill the numerous posts within its ranks. With a total of 4660 vacancies across the nation, this recruitment drive is primarily focused on the constable and sub-inspector posts. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking forward to a career in the Indian railway sector. The application process for RPF Recruitment 2024 was opened on April 15, 2024, and was active until May 14th (11:59 p.m.). 

It will now not be possible for the candidates to apply as the final date has passed; however, the aspirants can make changes to their application form from May 15th to May 24th, 2024. The registration fee was set at Rs 500 for OBC and general applicants, while SC/ST/female and ex-servicemen candidates were only required to pay Rs 250. Eligibility Criteria For RPF Recruitment 2024

There were some criteria set by the RPF in terms of education and age limit to apply for the SI and constable posts. The eligibility criteria for the RPF 2024 examinations are given as follows: 

 Educational Qualification 

•  SI: Candidates must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution or university.

• Constable: Aspirants should have passed at least class 10 from a recognised board or institution (matriculation).

Age Limit 

•  SI: Candidates should be between the ages of 20 and 28.

• Constable: The age group of the candidates is set between 18 and 28.

 However, age relaxations are provided to reserved categories like SC and ST.

The document verification process is the final phase of RPF recruitment. After successfully completing the above-mentioned stages, candidates will receive invitations where they will have to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.
